At Aquaholics, we took a long hard look at what would be fair to ALL of our consumers. We decided for frag orders it was easiest to flat rate shipping at $49 for all orders. Delivery is via Fedex Standard Overnight (Delivery by 3:00 unless it is too hot then we may elect to ship for 10:30 arrival. We box and ship late (drop of time is 8:00pm est. so it minimizes time in the box. Priority overnight delivery is available for an additional $10.00. There are no box charges.
For orders containing WYSWIG items, please contact us prior to submitting your order via the shopping cart so we can determine a shipping rate.
Orders Placed Via The Shopping Cart
When placing an order via the shopping cart (for frag and drygood orders only), prior to completing the sale, you will be asked to enter your zip code, unless you live in Virginia, this will add the flat rated shipping fee and you simply check out. If you live in Virginia, by law we must of course charge state sales tax of $5.0%. This is automatically assessed when you enter your zipcode. Then, all you need to do is simply check out via Paypal.
When Do We Ship?
For all orders received (and successfully paid for of course), by Sunday 10:00p.m. est. we ship Monday for Tuesday arrival. For all orders received during the week we can ship as soon as the next business day after we recieve payment. Saturday delivery is available for an additional $15. If placing an order using the shopping cart, simply state when you want the shipment delivered. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR CONTACT PHONE NUMBER WHEN DOING SO, SO THAT FEDEX CAN CALL YOU IF THEY GET LOST.
Packaging
In addition, we sought to use the thickest foam insulated boxes we could find. Thicker foam transaltes into better R-value and less fluctuation in water temperature. There simply is not a feasible replacement for foam containers where cold weather is concerned.
In addition, we use the utmost care in packing our livestock. At a minimum we will double bag if not triple bag every item. We use nothing but the highest quality, thick mil bags. Each item will be marked with a product reference number making it easier to identify the animal you ordered.
ID Tags
All Aquaholic frags come with an ID tag, one side with our company logo, the other with the appropriate ID number. The ID number will reference back to your invoice, match your order, and the ID number listed on the site. We would just list frag names, but since we plan to house so many species there simply is no other way to effectively track inventory. If it aint got the tag, it didnt come from us!
International Shipping Rates
The only other Country we can ship to currently is Canada. We can only ship frags to Canada. Frags shipped to Canada must be unmounted, and must go through customs, so please contact us prior to placing an order.
